4 G or LTE  And what is the difference between them?

For the average user, the 4G network may look the same as the 4GTE network. Is it just a word rigging or are we in front of two different technologies?

What is 4g?

In March 2008 ITU-R introduced new 4G generation standards, including faster access points for smartphones and tablets at a peak of at least 100 Mbps, At least a second for fixed uses such as hotspots.

What is LTE?

LTE is an abbreviation for “long-term evolution,” which is not technology as much as a 4G speed approach, so 4GTE can be compared to an iPhone series with an “S” in its name, “But it is not a big enough development to be considered a new generation.

On this basis, 4GTE can be viewed as a 3G, an intelligent solution that allows cellular networks to advertise 4G speeds without reaching the minimum set of standards defined by the ITU Radiocommunication Sector.

Therefore, most of the time when your phone displays the “4G” logo in the upper corner of the screen, that does not actually mean 4G. 4G vs LTE

The question here is whether the average user can notice the difference between 4G and LTE networks. Does the speed of downloading a web page or downloading an app on your phone be faster if you’re using LTE? The answer is probably no.
